trial mix

i am clearly being tested. i didn't get a chance to study for these pop quizzes that i've had the past few weeks, but so far i think i'm squeeking by, not failing but only just.

last week i was on trial with job changes. the trials this week have been more in my face rather than behind my back. E is out of town, and so there's always the insecurities and worries that go with that. especially since the fiasco a couple of months ago when he went to denver for work for a week.

yesterday as i was leaving for work, early [and looking fierce i might add!] as i have clients in town, i saw that the trunk on my car was open. my car had been burgled and now it was raining in through the missing window! the price of living in the barrio. i called some mobile glass place and by the time i left work at seven that evening the glass was replaced.

today i worked another long day and when i got to my car i realised i'd locked my keys inside. just when you need a damn broken window. a nice man offered to open it for me. i said i'd give him twenty so he pulled his antenna off his car, bent it a little, wedged it between the glass and snap, open sesame! the benefits of working in the ghetto. too bad i just quit this job!
