i had a craving for sushi on monday so i talked E into going for sushi with me on tuesday. i prefer tuesday for sushi since they also have dollar-fifty blue martinis, and i needed a fix having missed the manicure and martini monday at obar :: lady fingers and a man-tini for an andy jackson. affordable!
J and R, [whom the good doctor refers to as talks alot and eats alot] met us for sushi. they had intended to go home and do chores, or whatever code word the kids are using for it these days. in the end they couldn't resist the temptation of spending the evening with E and i. or perhaps it was the allure of the spicey tuna tower, [hold the crabs - i'm allergic!] that drew them in. whatever it was, we had a good time. E informed them that since they have been a married couple for just over a year, together for three years, that they are our marriage mentors. funny to think about having a pair of twenty-somethings coach us on an act that is illegal in 49 of the 50 states. gay sex is illegal in most of the states too, and i never had a mentor. partners yes. mentors no.
today i was searching for a link to bluefish and i discovered the reason that the joint wasn't packed last night. usually there is a good mix of queens and preens, but last night not another 'mo to be found apart from our four-top of four tops. [okay so that last part is a lie!]. spooky to think i might never eat raw fish again.

I have yet to try sushi, and I'm slowly learning that lots of gay men love it. Does that mean my pink card might be revoked if I don't try it soon?
your pink card may not be revoked, but perhaps not renewed either.
