two weeks ago E and i agreed to write out our personal garbage list and 'combine our garbage' with one another so that we have a better idea of what it is like to live with ourselves in advance of our house being finished in july.

when i say garbage, i mean garbage: little things like how often each of us jack off and what collections of sex toys we have to big things like when he needs E time he means alone-in-the-house E time or the fact that my current legal name is not my given name at birth, though i did not change it legally.

i told him it was sort of like a meme in blogger terms, but he didn't get it, since he really doesn't venture into the blogoshere, and doesn't really want to know my blog addy.

as each of us listened to the other's list, it prompted us to include more things on our own lists. it was the most incredible sharing we have ever had as a couple. we threw everything out for the other to see, let ourselves be vulnerable by exposing everything, but our relationship is all the stronger for it. and besides, now i know not to come home too early from the gym since he'll most likely be watching porn and jacking off.
