i rarely see my dreams. almost never. unless i am extremely tired or under the influence ephedrine. last night i saw a dream where i was walking in a forest near a stream with a man i don't remember. out of the corner of my eye, in the stream, i saw something bright, but not bright like the way water appears to have twinkling stars in it. i saw something white, dirty and white. i walked ahead of mystery man and saw the corspe of an albino owl, it's carcass caught in a logjam in a stream. in the dream, i scooped up the dead owl before mystery man saw it and placed it back in the water, a little downstream, so it could float away under the water stars in peace.
i woke up feeling very strange, remembering that this was the second time in two months i saw a dream of an owl.

So a strange, rare piece of wisdom, dead in the water, pursued by a strange man? Maybe some piece of knowledge that you THOUGHT you knew that now is surprisingly gone? You're not angry about it, but you also want it to go away before the other person learns of it?

You also could have been hungry and in the mood for an owl sandwich. I heard the albino ones taste like chicken.
