interesting

i find it interesting that borders books has a section of magazines called "men's interests" yet the homo men magazines are not included in this section. instead, they are segregated into their own category called "gay/ lesbian interests" where you can find all of the magazines that any gay man or lesbaterian would ever want to read [genre, out, girlfriends, frontiers, xy, gay times]. it's as if by declaring our homosexuality, we are somehow neutered and cease to have common interests with hetero men.

i mean why would we have any interest in cars, sports, trains, home repair, or hunting. none of us buy cars [where would mercedes be without us?], or play sports [ever heard of the gay games or the dinah shore classic?], ride trains [three words: new. york. subway.], swing a hammer [it's not called "homo depot" for nothin'!], or go hunting [i don't care what anyone says, hunting for bargains takes skill!]. and to think that if gays and lesbians weren't interested in say, books, borders wouldn't have much staff left.
